This includes session cookies, which store a session ID allowing various browser requests to be assigned to a common session. This enables your device to be recognized when you return. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
b) Persistent cookies – These are automatically deleted after a set period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time via your browser's security settings.

We distinguish between essential cookies and those used for extended purposes (e.g., analytics, advertising). You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via our Consent Manager. Refusing some cookies may limit your ability to use all website features. Consent can be managed and withdrawn via our cookie banner/settings.
10. Analytics Tools
10.1 Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files stored on your computer that help analyze website usage. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address is shortened beforehand within EU member states or other EEA agreement states. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the website operator, Google uses this information to evaluate your website usage, compile reports, and provide other related services.
The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. However, doing so may limit the full functionality of the site. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data related to your website use (incl. IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
This website uses Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This means IP addresses are processed in shortened form, excluding personal identification. If personal data is collected, it is immediately deleted.
We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve website usage. The insights help us improve our offer and make it more interesting for users. For exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google complies with the EU–US Privacy Shield: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Right to Object
You may object to data collection and storage for usage analysis at any time with effect for the future by notifying us, e.g., via email to prince.bowtie@seidenfalter.de
Legal basis for using analytics tools is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
11. Social Media Links
We link to social media platforms Facebook and Instagram using their respective icons. These are hyperlinks, and no data is transmitted upon simply visiting our site. If you click the link, you are redirected to our social media profile. Data is only transmitted if you are logged into your account on the respective platform.
Controllers for the linked social media services are:
-
Facebook: Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA
-
Instagram: Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Rd. Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA
For details on data collection, processing, and your rights, see each platform’s privacy policy.
13. Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, on our website. Google Tag Manager allows marketers to manage website tags via an interface. A tag is a marking or labeling of a data set. The Tag Manager itself, which deploys the tags, operates without cookies and does not collect personal data. The tags configured via Google Tag Manager merely trigger the collection of data, which is then forwarded to the target system. Since the data is only passed through, the system itself does not collect or store data. Thus, the Tag Manager only ensures the activation of other tags that may collect data. Information on these respective third-party providers can be found in this privacy policy. Google Tag Manager does not use this data.
Google may request permission to share some product data (e.g., your account information) with other Google products to enable certain features, such as simplifying the addition of new conversion-tracking tags for AdWords. Google developers may also occasionally review product usage information to optimize the product. However, Google will not share this type of data with other Google products without your consent.
For more information, refer to Google's terms of use and Google’s privacy notices for this product.
14. Newsletter
(1) With your consent, you may subscribe to our newsletter, through which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The promoted goods and services are named in the consent declaration.
(2) We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. This means that after your registration, we will send an email to the specified address asking you to confirm your wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. We also store your IP address and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this process is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any misuse of your personal data.
(3) The only required information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing additional, separately marked information is optional and used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
(4) You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe. You may revoke by clicking the link provided in each newsletter email, by emailing (prince.bowtie@seidenfalter.de), or by contacting us via the details listed in the legal notice.
(5) Please note that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. These emails contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels—single-pixel image files stored on our website. To perform these evaluations, we link the data mentioned in §3 and the web beacons to your email address and an individual ID. The resulting profiles help us tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. We track when you read our newsletters and which links you click to infer your personal interests.
Right to Object
You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking the link provided in every newsletter or by contacting us via other channels (e.g., by email: prince.bowtie@seidenfalter.de).
The data is stored as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we store the data anonymously and for statistical purposes only. This tracking is not possible if your email program blocks image display by default. In that case, the newsletter may not be displayed completely, and certain functions may not be available. If you display the images manually, tracking will take place as described.
15. Use of Social Media Plug-ins
We use so-called social media plug-ins ("plug-ins") from Instagram, operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
We use the two-click solution. When you visit our site, no personal data is transmitted to Instagram by default. The plug-in, in the form of images, is labeled “Follow us on Instagram.” We offer you the option to interact directly with Instagram via the button. Only when you click the marked area and activate it does Instagram receive information that you accessed our site. The data listed under §1 of this policy will also be transmitted. When you activate the plug-in, your personal data is transmitted to Instagram and stored there (in the USA, for US-based providers).
We have no control over the data collected and processing procedures, nor do we know the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the retention periods. We also have no information on data deletion by Instagram.
When you interact with the plug-in, especially by clicking the image, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram’s servers. The content of the plug-in is sent directly from Instagram to your browser and integrated into the page. Instagram then receives the information that your browser has accessed our website—even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not logged in. This information (including your IP address) is sent directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, your visit to our website can be directly linked to your Instagram account. This information is also published on your Instagram account and shown to your contacts. We recommend logging out of social networks after using them, especially before activating buttons, to prevent linking to your profile.
Instagram stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and demand-based design of its website. Such evaluation takes place (even for users not logged in) to show personalized advertising and inform other users about your activities on our site. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, please contact Instagram.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use by Instagram, and your rights and privacy settings, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/.
If you do not want Instagram to directly associate data collected via our website with your account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely block Instagram plug-ins with browser add-ons, e.g., the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).
Legal basis for the use of plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
16. Remarketing/Retargeting
(1) We use Facebook Custom Audiences for retargeting/remarketing purposes on our website. This is a service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This service uses so-called tracking or remarketing pixels—image files that enable log file analysis. The service provider can determine when and how many users viewed the pixel, or whether an email was opened or a website was visited.
(2) With this service, users of our website can be shown interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") on Facebook or other websites using the same method. We aim to show you ads that match your interests to make our website more appealing. When you visit our site, the pixel establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. Facebook can then identify you via your browser ID, which may be linked to your account. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through this tool and inform you based on our knowledge: Integration of Facebook Custom Audiences allows Facebook to know you visited our site or clicked one of our ads. If you are registered with Facebook, the visit can be associated with your account. Even if you are not registered or logged in, Facebook may still collect and store your IP address and other identifiers.
(3) You can disable the "Facebook Custom Audiences" feature if you are logged in via https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_.
(4) Legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. For more information about data processing by Facebook, visit: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Right to Object
If you do not want to see advertising generated by targeting services, you can object to the use of retargeting on our website by sending a message to prince.bowtie@seidenfalter.de.
18. Orders via Our Website
To place orders through our website or app, users must enter certain personal data, specifically: name, address, and, if applicable, payment data (e.g., credit card info). This data is stored and used solely to process your order. The following data is also automatically stored: IP address, date, and time of registration.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6 para. 1 b) GDPR. The collected data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for fulfilling its purpose, i.e., after full contract fulfillment.
Data collection is essential for proper order processing. Therefore, users cannot object to this data collection.
Paypal
Our online store enables payment via PayPal. Provider: PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.
If you pay via PayPal, the payment data you provide will be transmitted to PayPal.
Data transfer to PayPal is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment). You may revoke your consent at any time. Past data processing remains unaffected.
Klarna
To enable payments via Klarna, your personal data (contact and delivery data) may be transmitted to Klarna. This is necessary for Klarna to verify your eligibility to use the payment method. The data transmitted will be processed in accordance with Klarna’s privacy policy.
22. Data Security
We have implemented a variety of security measures to protect your personal data. Our servers and databases are protected by physical and technical means.
We use standardized SSL encryption technology when collecting and transmitting data via our website. During the ordering process, personal data is transmitted via SSL encryption. You can recognize this by the padlock symbol in your browser and the address starting with “https://”.
With encrypted communication, your payment data cannot be read by third parties. However, 100% security cannot be guaranteed when communicating via email.
23. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be changed at any time. All changes will be published on this website and will become effective automatically 30 days after publication.
